Southaven Chamber of Commerce Announces Executive Director's Title Change to President & CEO, Signaling New Chapter of Leadership and Vision

SOUTHAVEN – The Southaven Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Debbie King, who has served the Chamber for over 12 years, 3 of those years as Executive Director, will now hold the title of President & CEO. This title change reflects King's unwavering committment, and the exceptional leadership she has brought to the Chamber, guiding it through substantial growth and success over the past decade. The title transition to President & CEO is a strategic move to reinforce the Chamber’s dedication to shaping the future of the Southaven business community and its continued economic vitality.
“Debbie has proven to be an invaluable leader for our Chamber,” said Eric Williams, Board President. “This new title is a recognition of her deep commitment to our mission and vision, and we believe it will allow her to make an even greater impact on the Southaven business community.”
Throughout her tenure, King has driven a range of impactful initiatives that have strengthened local businesses, championed economic development, and fostered a collaborative, business-friendly environment within Southaven. This title change will enable King to further elevate the Chamber’s mission, building on a foundation of success to create innovative programs, deepen partnerships, and advocate even more effectively for the needs of the Chamber's members.

Additionally, the Chamber is pleased to announce that Shawntel Hibbler has been named Vice President, a testament to her commitment to member services and community engagement. Hibbler said, "I am utterly proud of the work our Chamber has done and excited about the future of our business community. This is a big deal for us, and I am just happy to be involved in such an amazing organization".
With King at the helm as President & CEO, the Southaven Chamber of Commerce is positioned to make an even greater impact as a leader in regional business advocacy and community development.
