Insurance Instructor
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Property & Casualty Instructor to join our staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in a supportive and engaging learning environment. The instructor will be expected to foster a sense of community among students and promote academic excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Teach provided curriculum to students
- Maintain responsibility for instruction and classroom management
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports the diverse needs of students
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and academic policies
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices and support student learning
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse staff and student body
-Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
-Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to establish positive relationships with students and staff
-Knowledge of Internet software; Excel spreadsheet software, Word processing software and PowerPoint
-Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required
Required Education and/or Experience
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Minimum of 2 years teaching/training experience
- MS Property & Casualty Insurance License
Schedule:
Full time/ Contractor
Monday-Friday
8:30 am-4:30 pm
Salary:
$18-$22 an hour
