What is this workshop about?
Writing a grant? There’s much more to a successful application than simply copying language from your last grant application and hoping it will get funded as you hit “submit” online (... but we’ve all done it that anyway!).

Christy M.P. Gilmour, Principal, Christy Gilmour Consulting
Christy M.P. Gilmour has over 20 years of multi-faceted and multi-cultural experience in government relations, education, medical communications, and non-profit campaigns and development. Christy's expertise spans the globe as she has practiced in Washington, D.C.; Chicago; Auckland, New Zealand; and Memphis, TN. Christy's strengths include strategy, leadership, philanthropy, and communications. Her passion is developing sustainability for the not-for-profit community, with a focus on good governance, public affairs, grassroots messaging, fundraising/development management, and as a non-profit consultant.
Christy has served in numerous governmental positions on Capital Hill, as a lobbyist for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, as a travel writer, as the Executive Director of the Kappa Delta Foundation, and as a non-profit consultant.
