About the position

As a landscape construction foreman, you will get to lead a work crew for daily assignments. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, creating quality work, and meeting customer needs and expectations. You will keep efficiency and quality in mind, making sure tasks are performed within budgeted hours.
This is a fulltime position reporting to the supervisor and landscape construction manager. You will lead assigned crew members
Shift: Monday Friday (some weekends) 6am close of business

What youll be doing

  • Oversee Crew members and all assigned work is performed in a safe and efficient manner within budgeted hours
  • Report equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and accidents to your supervisor and office immediately.
  • Train and develop crew members
  • Assist manager in performance evaluations, discipline, or promotion of crew members
  • Assure that work is performed to the highest quality standards in accordance with the job specifications
  • Accurately fil out any and all needed paperwork
  • Communicate daily with supervisor for all aspects related to assigned job sites
  • Become proficient in all Landscape Construction procedures and instillation techniques
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site, shop, nursery, locker, and truck
