Inaugural Jaguar Shootout on the Links

It has been a great year for DeSoto Central Athletics! We have had students excel in the classroom, won championships, seen our young student-athletes continue to grow and mature, and we have navigated COVID-19 with minimal disruptions. As the 2020-2021 athletic year comes to an end, we are excited about the future of the Jaguars and Lady Jaguars. We are excited about new ventures on the horizon in 2021-2022. The first venture is the Inaugural Jaguar Shootout on the Links. This 4-person golf scramble and silent auction event will take place on Thursday, June 10^th, 2021. We are excited to bring this event to the DC Athletic Family. This will be an event that will benefit all our athletic programs and activities. We will use money raised to make improvements to our athletic facilities, continue to meet the needs of our programs, and help re-new our JagTV partnership with WSN. We want the Jaguar Shootout to be a unifying event and create an environment that can truly showcase the “DC” brand. I am asking for your help in helping spread the word about this great event and how it can benefit everyone wearing the Purple and Gold! Attached to this email you will find the tournament flyer and the virtual sign-up form. Deadline to register is June 1^st, 2021, and if you or anyone else has any questions please encourage them to contact me. We also have great sponsorship opportunities with the event, and I would love to speak with anyone about possible opportunities in this area. We want our students to have the best experiences possible when they represent out school on the field, court, or stage; the Jaguar Shootout will help increase those opportunities and better those experiences.
