Job Description

The Grillehouse is Desoto's County's nicest and best steakhouse! Voted 2017 Best Steak and its sister restaurant, Oxford Grillehouse, has been voted best steak since 2012.

We are hiring for the grill position. This position will include the following duties:

Cook every steak to recipe and temperature.

Fill out inventory sheets twice a week, no ordering.

Manage prep- ensure all items are ready for service utilizing the other staff to accomplish this task.

Read & call out tickets to the fry and saute while cooking your items as well.

Communicating with the expo to timely and efficiently get the food out of the window.

This is not a white coat with a pen and paper position, this is actively cooking every night.

This is a 6 day a week job. We are closed on Monday. I am open to discuss some rotating days off other than monday. Overtime is approved for this position for the Top Candidate.

Please note- working fast food grill is not acceptable. This must be grill experience cooking steaks to temperature in steakhouses. Burger cooks will not be considered. Experience in a fast paced kitchen with nightly guest count from 150-300 is preferred.
